Home grown local purple stripe garlic. Grown organically without any sprays or artificial fertilisers by our good friend Jacquie from Serendipity Farm.
Perfect for seed garlic as it is adapted to our local conditions. Braided garlic is the best way to store your garlic and it will not sprout until late March or April when it is time to plant a new crop. They look wonderful hung in the kitchen to be used as you need, or make fermented garlic paste and keep in the fridge for up to 12 months.
The first bulb of garlic was originally sourced (with quarantine checks back in 2009) from Patrice Newell in NSW and has been adapted to local conditions over the past 15 years of growing in the Perth Hills.
